Ready to book a piercing? The O. Whether you're after just one lobe or two, your first, second, third or stacked lobe piercing - we got you! Not fond of needles? Check out our options for lobe piercings using a sterile cartridge system. Jewellery: We normally pierce with a 16 gauge straight barbell, flatback post or segment ring. Depending on your anatomy and the look you're going for, 14 gauge may also be used. Healing: Downsize to slightly shorter sterile jewellery in approximately weeks, wait at least 12 weeks before transitioning to a ring, and up to 6 months for full healing. Aftercare: Never touch a fresh or healing piercing. We recommend a sterile saline solution available instore or online twice daily. Avoid swimming fresh water, pool or beach for the first weeks of healing. Try not to sleep on your piercing and be mindful of hats, glasses, earphones and hair products. Available: First Lobe piercings with needle are available from 5 years, Second lobe piercing from 10 years, and third lobe piercing from 13 years of age - all with parental consent, or from 16 years without consent. Note: In WA you must be 18 years to obtain a piercing without consent.
