Their powers, bestowed upon them by Parvos' technology, grant them invincibility in battle that can only be broken by the Tenno who they are bound to - by discovering a sequence of enigmatic phrases inscribed on Requiem Mods , which the Tenno must unearth and apply to their Parazon in corresponding order, thus being able to purify and permanently break the Sister's security encryption. Every Sister has a unique name and various properties. After the completion of The War Within and Call of the Tempestarii quests, as well as obtaining Mastery Rank 5, the player may encounter a Candidate after completing the Granum Void in any Corpus Ship tileset while qualifying for Rank 1 rewards of Nightmare Difficulty using a Zenith Granum Crown ; not to be confused with Nightmare Mode which is a different mission modifier.

The Sisters of Parvos are Corpus super-soldiers who act as the nemesis of the Tenno whose actions created them and will cause several problems until they are slain. It's worth making this sort of enemy though since successfully besting a Sister of Parvos can grant the player a variety of rewards. These rewards include several new "Tenet Weapons" or the ability to convert them into allies. These rewards mean that, despite the trouble they can cause while active, Sisters of Parvos are always worth the trouble of hunting down. In order to spawn a Sister of Parvos you must first kill at least 25 enemies inside the Granum Void and you must use a Zenith Granum Crown to enter; the lower tiers of Granum Void do not spawn a sister!
