In the mean time I recommend fying their older version of business class seats or obviously Cathay in the region is always the reference. An incredibly poor hard product - and the soft product was too - give me the old lufthansa or iberia seats over this any time! The bed in this row is significantly shorter than the beds in row 2 because of this cut out making it uncomfortable for taller travelers. Seat 43 E is a standard Economy seat however, the proximity to the lavatory and galley may be bothersome. Best first class we have experienced so far. In general this new generation of business class seats is a let-down--every generation at SQ seems to be getting worse. Singapore business seats mean you need to lie sideways - I am only 5' 7 and found the lying down position uncomfortable.. Extremely annoying and bad design. Other plane models of the airline. Absolutely not worth paying for. It shouldn't have been that hard. You may select these seats in advance for free when you book a Flexi fare type. Three toilets are located at the galley area around the fourth main door, separating the two economy seating sections, with three more toilets at the rear galley area. I so wish I had pushed for row 15 again! When you book a Lite or Standard fare type, there is an additional fee for this seat.
