Vanessa: Another discovery in suburbia and again close to home is Silverfox Cafe, located in Mortdale. Bianca and I arrived on a Sunday morning and the place was already pumping with people. The cafe is deceptive in size from the front as it is actually quite long and extends to a courtyard out the back. A trendy fit out makes it an appealing location. Silverfox is a family run operation and the team have put some careful consideration into their menu as it extends beyond the average cafe fare. Valentina, one of the owners, greeted us to talk through some of their new winter menu items. Full props to the team for creativity on the names of some of the dishes, I appreciated the novelty factor.

The Silver Fox Cafe is a charming hometown eatery in Pekin, Indiana, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere where patrons can enjoy delicious home-cooked meals and a variety of coffee options. Great sandwiches and Great coffee drinks. Service with a smile!! Old house type venu. Very pretty. A great find! Cute place to look at all the decor with delicious, perfectly cooked food and delightful staff. We'll make it a regular stop on our travels. I absolutely love this wonderful place the atmosphere is cozy the staff is wonderful Polite and just down right awesome. Nice, quaint cozy place. Very friendly.

We headed to Mortdale to try out the new kid on the block, the Silver Fox Cafe. In a area with plenty of bakeries, charcoal chicken shops and grocery stores, Mortdale has been missing a quality cafe. This certainly fills that void. As soon as you enter this cafe, it feels fresh and the decor is on trend. Pine wooden pieces, cement floors and a touch of white, the cafe feels modern and we love the Kate Moss artwork in the back room. We meet the delightful owners, and the staff working on the day are equally as nice.

The iconic transport cafe that helped Ringo Star pile on the pounds was a stopping off point for bands on tour. An iconic transport cafe that once served egg and chips to stars such as Richard Burton and Tom Jones as they made their way back to the Green Green Grass of home is being brought back to life after being closed for years. A trendy fit out makes it an appealing location. So hard to pick from the menu as everything is top notch. Picked up some chocolate bombs for Christmas and while I was here I picked up a hot chocolate to go Impeccably prepared meals and professional service. The flavour combinations were brilliant and it was certainly a very generous serving. Full props to the team for creativity on the names of some of the dishes, I appreciated the novelty factor.
