I found mine very early when they were released on gunbroker. I contacted Alma about putting a different brand dot on mine as well and I wanted his opinion on whether he thought it was possible.
I'm interested in a Romeo 1 red dot sight. Does anyone know if it shares it's mount platform with any other red dot? Can't be both, so which is it? Or is it totally different? If that helps at all. It appears to have its own proprietary platform.

Sig romeo 1 mount compatibility
It will depend on your pistol. There are 3 variants. If you pistol is not pre-cut for an optic, you would need an adapter plate. If your pistol is precut for an optic, it could be cut for one of two different sights, either the original Romeo1, or the newer Romeo1Pro which shares a mounting pattern with the DeltaPoint Pro. If you do no know which one your pistol is pre-cut for, you would have to contact Sig directly, they should be able to tell you based on your serial number.
