Unfortunately, my pistol's slide is not optics ready. I'm trying to find out how those who have upgraded to the P pro cut slide, to mount an optic, like it. Also, after waiting months for the Legion version of the pro cut slide to come into stock still out of stock after months and Sig having no idea when it will be back in stock , they have the black version for the standard P What are thoughts on putting the black slide on a Legion frame. Sig told me they are identical in design and function. My research has shown that the Legion pro cut does not have Legion branding. Also, is the Sig Romeo1Pro a good, durable, reliable optic. According to the specs it is compatible with a RMR which is my preferred dot only requires a sealing plate.

As for the bosses on the mount, I would point out that the Shadow Systems guns, I had a DR, dispense with those completely and the direct mount is just the two screws, nothing else. The whole red dot on a pistol thing isn't doing much for me so far TBH. I also bought a new barrel, recoil guide rod, and recoil spring Runs great and looks great, and I love having a red-dot for my P A separate optics specific slide makes sense to me.
