Seasoned actress Sheridan Smith told fans she was "very, very excited" for her latest gig as she posed topless promoting her titular role in Willy Russell's Shirley Valentine. Sheridan Smith has posed topless as she revealed her exciting career move. The award-winning actress, 41, has had a stellar career, but now she's bagged the titular role of Shirley Valentine in London's West End. The mum-of-one will be starring in the solo show from the 17th of February next year for 12 weeks and posted a "stunning pic" to share her news. Submerged in aquamarine water, Sheridan looks longingly at the camera with her blonde hair piled on top of her head. Captioning the snap, she wrote: "Very very excited to be returning to the west end in this wonderful play shirleyonstage dukeofyorksldn".

The actress, 40, looked sublime in the hot pink number as she joined Jason Manford, Adam Lambert and Beverly Knight on the panel for the ITV programme, which sees four sets of superfans impersonating stars. She wore a corset-inspired velour dress, that had a cut out across the chest to show off her ample assets. Stunning: Sheridan Smith 'stole the show' on Starstruck on Saturday night, after she stunned in a low cut dress as she sat on the judging panel. Her blonde tresses were swept up in an elegant high ponytail, with several pieces framing her lovely face. Viewers could barely concentrate on the acts on stage, as they were so distracted by Sheridan's cleavage.
