The past decade has featured the debut of many formative anime series, but My Hero Academia continues to be one of the most successful of its kind. The anime explores a world full of powerful superheroes, villains, and the brave youth that strive to be the next generation of heroes. My Hero Academia does an excellent job at using superhero tropes to compliment the shonen genre and create some truly lovable characters. Hanta Sero has a fairly normal appearance when he's in his civilian attire and he doesn't stand out very much. However, the character's Quirk is on the more creative side and it helps Sero stand out.

He is one of the students in Class 1-A, training to become a Pro Hero. He is voiced by Kiyotaka Furushima in the Japanese version of the anime, and by Christopher Bevins in the English version. Hanta is a young man of rather tall height, Japanese. He has black hair that is spiked downwards along with black eyes. His face is regarded as rather plain with his eyes often opened quite wide as well as often sporting a grin, with his teeth being prominently straight and narrow. His elbows are cylinder-shape dispensers, which allows him to use his Quirk and shoot tape from them. His hero costume consists of a black and white bodysuit with two large yellow shoulder-pads as well as white boots that are lined with yellow. In addition, he adorns a helmet in similar style to his costume with a black visor covering his face. Hanta is a very friendly person and has proven to be one of the more sociable members of Class 1-A.

There is always that one person in the massive shounen manga or anime cast that will inevitably fade into the background. The Taping Hero Cellophane is, sadly, one of the more forgettable characters. Having watched and read My Hero Academia up to the latest content, I could still honestly admit that Hanta Sero is the most forgettable member of Class 1-A. He fades into the background most of the time, just being there and assisting in most scenes. Such is the case with Hanta Sero, who is one of the best examples of what real high school can be like. In every high school class, there are the popular kids, the sports kids, and the ones who just sort of fade into the background.

They are good friends with each other. Hanta and Eijiro were on the same team during the cavalry battle, along with Mina and Katsuki. Hanta and Eijiro work well together, as noted by how they cooperated in reeling in Katsuki during said cavalry battle. Denki and Hanta appear to be good friends, often hanging around and talking to each other, indicating a friendship. They share a very easygoing and social personality, tending to be among some of the louder and more extroverted boys of the class.
