We partnered with Serena and Lily for this post. They stayed in our last home because they went perfectly with that island but we knew we wanted to get some Serena and Lily stools again for this new house because of how much we loved our last ones. This time around we needed five or six stools because of how large the kitchen peninsula is. I ordered five to start with but think I may order a sixth. I knew I wanted to go with a black stool to help balance out all of the white and wood in the kitchen and I went back and forth deciding between these Tucker counter stools and these Portside ones , but ultimately ended up going with the Tucker ones. I love having people keep me company while I cook, so comfortable island seating was important to me. And I noticed that after we got these stools, people were more likely to sit and chat for a while.
