Scav customs extracts
Customs is a location in Escape from Scav customs extracts. It is the second map that was added to the game. A large area of industrial park land situated adjacent to the factory zone.
Videos can be super helpful when trying to extract in EFT as it can be very confusing if you are new to a map. Do your best to identify landmarks you know to navigate through Customs so you can extract. There is also a full guide of Customs map if you would rather see that overview. As a scav, there are only a couple extractions available each raid. One of the more common extractions is Administration Gate. This extraction can be tough to venture to as it is at the very edge of the map as well as it is close to a common PMC extraction, ZB Beware of PMCs and hostile player scavs in the area.

The maps in EfT can be daunting, with lots of information to learn in order to effectively make your way through a raid. From spawns and to extracts, to good loot spots and areas where enemies are likely to be, understanding the locations and points of interest is one of the most critical parts of playing Escape From Tarkov. Knowing the Customs map spawns is important because it informs your immediate decision making; do you go for nearby PMC spawns in the hope of grabbing a quick kill, rush the loot spots, or try and track down the boss quickly? Spawns are divided into two sides, Customs to the west and Warehouses on the east. Your extraction points are determined by your spawn and will always be on the opposite side of the map. This means that as you move across the map, you will be parallel with those who spawned on your side and heading directly at those on the opposite — avoiding firefights is pretty tricky. These locations are all around the large red customs warehouse that gives the map its name, and range from the west wall beyond the storage facility and up to the railroad by the river. The east side of the map has its spawn points distributed in a horseshoe shape that circles around the north hills and down towards the old gas station.
Along with that, make sure you keep an eye across the river as players and SCAVs can scav customs extracts on the other side and cross where the shipping containers are in the river. Military Checkpoint is at the end of the road past the New Gas Station.

However, surviving long enough to find all the extraction points on maps such as the Woods or Customs maps is difficult for new players. However, specific Extraction Points, be they PMC or Scav, may have special environmental requirements before you can use them. The following locations listed below are only for Scav players. Most of these extraction points are along the border of Customs, with a few in the central area. Two Extracts are located in the northern part of the map, while the rest are to the immediate south. Any player faction can use the last two common Extraction Points on Customs. Most spawns are either in the western section or the eastern, northeast, and southeast areas. A few spawns are located but spread across the middle section of the map. Comments are on moderation and will be approved in a timely manner.
Scav customs extracts
While many of the early quests will have you jumping into the Escape From Tarkov Customs map, there is plenty to learn and find within this trade intersection. Often touted as the best Escape From Tarkov map for beginners, Customs is also a fantastic place to go for some great PvP too. The single most important thing to know on any map you decide to raid in Escape From Tarkov is how and where to get out.

One of the coolest looking extractions on Customs is Smugglers Boat, you literally are loading onto a little boat to escape, how sick is that. Your extraction points are determined by your spawn and will always be on the opposite side of the map. Look for the red van just north of the dormitory buildings to use the Dorms V-EX extraction on Customs. These dorms are the location of many quests and unlockable rooms. The Trailer Park extract is on the south wall, just down from the storage facility in the east. Being able to change a plan on the fly and switch extract can be an invaluable skill. Getting through Customs in real life can be a painful experience, but in Escape From Tarkov?
If you pass below or over, you will reach a desolate gas station. Gas station office key. Military checkpoint key. Each structure boasts a front entrance and a fire escape at each end with doorways leading to each floor some of which are blocked or permanently locked. These can be tough opponents so try to use range and grenades to your advantage, as well as having easy ways to break line of sight and heal. Explore Wikis Community Central.
