I have been going to Santa Ponsa for the last 16 years and weather has always been very good despite being there at different times of the year. August however can be very hot, anything from 35 to 40 degrees. May, June, September and October are more bearable temperatures. Have thoroughly enjoyed every single holiday and still don't yearn to go anywhere else. Every day was a scorcher. It's nearly guaranteed in Mallorca. In August, when we were there, it was very warm at night too, hard to sleep if you haven't got air conditioning - but who wants to sleep anyway! Came back very tanned. Wonderful, beach is fab altough some days we spent by the pool in the complex. The town is lively altough this year was quiter than most due to the recession I guess. Plenty of eateries to choose from, we ate breakfast in The Dutchie every morning and went to a variety of restaurants at night, two stood out as fab, The Meson del Mar by the beach and Crocodillos and Rafters. Avoid the Dubliner, we ate there and two of us were violently ill the next day. There are more bars than enough, from live music to djs. The Shamrock, Dirty Nellys etc. Absolutely roasting!

However, I cannot be too negative about Santa Ponsa because, like our hotel, it suited our purposes, and with a little bit of effort we were able to find some great santa ponsa reviews.
