We dressed in matching Christmas jammies and had an amazing experience being participants in their Opening Night and first time ever of the reenactment of the movie! It was our first time ever riding a Polar Express themed train and we were so excited!

If you're thinking of riding the Polar Express in Old Sacramento , tickets for the public are set to go on sale on Monday morning. But people must have signed up by Aug. The public sale begins on Sept. Tickets can only be purchased online. The train ride in Old Sacramento features seven cars pulled by vintage locomotives from the California State Railroad Museum's collection. There's also entertainment while you wait to board the train. The pre-boarding show begins about 40 minutes before the main event. The train ride lasts an hour, and once on, you'll travel to the "North Pole" while staff reads the story of The Polar Express. There's also hot chocolate and a small treat onboard.
