A devastated dad has recalled the last time he spoke to his daughter, hours before finding her dead in her bedroom. Roxy-Mae Barber, 11, was tragically found when he went to wake her for school on May 4, An inquest held at Grimsby Town Hall heard the young schoolgirl was "kind, funny, and generous". Mr Barber said he had not been able to return to their home since the tragedy. His daughter had moved in with him after spending her early years living with her mum. His statement said: "I'm devastated and have not been able to go back into the house where I found Roxy since her death and have been staying with my brother. Michael Barber, from Grimsby, has been living with his brother since his daughter's passing and had to sell his former home residence because it was too upsetting for him to revisit. A hearing was held at Grimsby, in Linconshire, on June 2, where Mr Barber expressed his sadness and paid tribute to his "beautiful, happy and loving" daughter.
