A Marvel subreddit has closed its doors after Marvel Studios launched a man-hunt to find those who were involved in the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania script leak. While the leaked script was eventually removed, this Marvel manhunt has led to the closure of the Marvel spoilers subreddit. Unfortunately, Disney is now aware of its existence, hence why it shut down. I just wanted to take the time to drop in and tell a little story. That was back then, I have no idea if it is like that now. This subreddit started very small…I ran it alone, then I added some mods, then those mods left or lost their minds…It was along time ago to me and I actually do not remember all the details anymore. It grew and grew…now it has grown so large that people from the MCU know of it. Sadly, this means Disney also knows of it. The Mouse always wins…a lesson I learned from South Park. If someone wants to step up and takeover the subreddit…including all the legal ramifications potentially , message this account. This led to the film becoming the worst-reviewed Marvel film on Rotten Tomatoes since Eternals and having a record-low box office return.

Spoilers often feel unavoidable in our current entertainment industry. The bigger your franchise, the more likely it is that a legion of people will go online to spoil new releases before fans get the chance to experience them. Very few companies know about this more than Marvel, a company with an entire Reddit forum dedicated to spoiling its films. Sadly, this means Disney also knows of it. The Mouse always wins…a lesson I learned from South Park. Marvel Studios filed this court case in order to identify the users that unleashed this leak.

Ever since the Charlie Cox-led Daredevil series was canceled at Netflix in , there have been outcries among diehard viewers of the show for its cast to reprise their roles in the wider MCU. While there is still a fiery debate whether Marvel TV's many projects are considered canon to Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige's world , it seems fans will finally be getting their wish in some form sooner rather than later. While the source stated that Charlie Cox's Daredevil was originally supposed to return in Hawkeye as well, scheduling conflicts reportedly prevented his appearance. Additionally, the report indicated that Hawkeye is set to premiere around the same time Spider-Man: No Way Home hits theaters due to links between the two. The same sources previously said that Hawkeye will begin this November, meaning the show's later episodes would align with the December 17 release of the Tom Holland-led sequel. Wilson Fisk's Kingpin crime boss has a surprising, obvious link into the plot of Hawkeye through the debut of deaf hero Maya Lopez, better known as Echo. Within Marvel Comics, Maya became the adopted daughter of Fisk after her birth father, a mob enforcer for the crime boss, was murdered under Kingpin's orders. Should Echo receive a series order, both Kingpin and Daredevil could both return once again in the series due to their deep connections to the character.

Upon its closure, it's thought the forum was one of the largest gathering places of Marvel fans on the internet. The main target is to not only expose this person but go after everybody who posts spoilers on Reddit. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is now in theaters. This document with the dialogue was released back in January and it was exactly the one from the film. While the leaked script was eventually removed, this Marvel manhunt has led to the closure of the Marvel spoilers subreddit. According to legal documents filed on March 10th, a Disney-owned limited liability company sought a subpoena in an attempt to identify users behind a sizable leak surrounding Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania that was posted by the moderators of the subreddit earlier this year. This new action taken by Disney as a company sets a new precedent against people who post leaked spoilers in any type of online forum. They were the ones who uploaded leaked images of 'Spiderman: No Way Home', 'Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness' and the upcoming release schedule for phases 5 and 6. The message then went on to detail the earliest days of the subreddit. Sadly, this means Disney also knows of it. Home IRL.
