At Restaurant Gaa, we focus on creating a one-of-a-kind dining experience which showcases the modern relevance of Indian cooking techniques. We bring to you the cuisines of India as we in the kitchen enjoy them the most. The current menu introduces you to the never ending explosion of flavours, textures and ingredients; all inspired by the limitless cuisines of India. This menu in its many little bites, combining traditional Indian cooking techniques with local ingredients, will take you through a journey into the heart of India in a new and unexpected way. In collaboration with Architectkidd , a Bangkok-based design studio, a year-old traditional Thai house is transformed into a unique dining destination by accentuating the strong characteristics of baan ruen thai in subtle and new ways. The interior palette is reduced to a singular tone of taupe to give focus on the details such as the wood joinery and how they are seen in changing light and shadow. The curved ceilings are highlighted with a white string installation which is a modern interpretation of 'Sai Sin' - white threads strung along rafters of houses and buildings to symbolize the spiritual connection and bliss of people gathered together within the space.
