A wonderfully beautiful and interesting building designed by Karel de Bazel and now home to, among others, the Amsterdam City Restaurant de bazel, where continuously changing exhibitions mostly free of charge can be visited. The restaurant is open from breakfast to dinner.

I went here for lunch. Very friendly staff and Delicious food. I had the open sandwich with salmon and avocado, tasted SO good, best meal in Amsterdam so far! I told them about celiac and they knew what I was talking about. They have gluten free bread on the menu but they toast the bread in the same oven as everything else so I got the bread replaced with a bowl of fruit. They were able to make me scrambled eggs in a washed clean pan and they were great. Great little place for lunch.
