Rename steam library folder

The reason is because the folder which my steam folder is in has an ' in it and it's causing an issue with an addon within FSX. My question is will renaming this folder screw with anything in steam or should I be ok?

I can't manually move it or steam doesn't recognise the installation folder, and I can't move it through steam itself because there's no option to move it, or make another folder on D: drive. Can you change the game location in Steam? Can you move games to a different drive? While Steam does an excellent job of managing your library, you can control where games get installed and even move them if you upgrade your storage or want different locations. For games that come on a disc, their size limit gets based on storage capacity.
