The Maytag corporation has been producing ovens and other appliances for more than years. Now a division of Whirlpool, Maytag still continues to produce quality ovens. Many Maytag ovens feature a self-cleaning mode, which significantly reduces the time and effort necessary to clean the interior of the oven. However, the self-cleaning mode is not perfect, and the indoor of the oven must be periodically hand cleaned. Doing so is much easier if the door is first removed.
