My task is to replace our dual monitor setups with a single, large display. What I would like to do is be able to split the screen up as 2 or 3, but still have that full screen look for RDP on one of the split screens. I'm thinking maybe there some software out there that would accomplish this, and I've tried 2 or 3 with no lock, but I'm running out of ideas. If this doesn't fit in this forum, or could be better utilized in more than one, admins feel free to move it to wherever it would be helpful. RDp in Windows 10 has a smart sizing option where the window is displayed as full screen in a snapped window. You can see the settings on the window when it is not fullscreen by right-clicking on the window bar.

February 14, Ask a new question. RDP should not be dependant on the resolution of the remote desktop, it is it's own display device on the remote computer so by default will be rendered by the remote computer at your local computers resolution. This is because you don't normally take over the actual remote desktop but create a separate one. Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help.

Currently, users with Ultrawide displays have to manually switch to before streaming, otherwise streams will be squished. It would be great if Moonlight could automatically switch to a resolution for users with Ultrawide displays, and then once a stream is stopped, Moonlight switches everything back to normal. Ultrawide monitors offer a larger canvas for your digital work and play, making it easier for you to reference multiple windows side by side or become immersed in a video game. Thank you!! I don't want to have adjust the RDP window sizes. Also the question is almost 5 years old, so maybe it's already solved. With the full screen setting I get the resolution of my primary monitor even if it has the smaller resolution. I know how to do that and it's not what I'm after. Oct 22, 63 Seattle.
