This mod increases the variety and relevance of game dialogue by restoring otherwise unused dialogue and remixing existing voice assets. Instead, it aims to improve the sense of realism and immersion in dialogue conversations. It also fixes several voice bugs and adds consequences for disapproving NPCs of the player characters. Throughout the Skyrim game, the Dragonborn protagonist creates and develops relationship dialogue with many different NPC types. In addition, they can even fall in love with NPCs and marry them. However, the NPC dialogue often doesn't progress as character relationships do. For example, even loved ones remain stiffly formal in conversation. Relationship Dialogue Overhaul SE sets out to add and edit more story-appropriate dialogue. The mod uses original character voices and various existing voice assets to create the new fully voiced lines. It even restores lines that were made for but never used in the game, while other dialogue snippets are edited and remixed character voice lines. Skyrim Special Edition is a game that rewards long-term play. However, it makes the repetitive NPC dialogue, which is often jarringly unfitting to the storyline, particularly unwelcome.

Forgot your password? When one greets the blacksmith in Riverwood the second time, the blacksmith usually greets one with something like " Hey there good to see you again". EDIT 2: Further testing showed that if one downloads and installs RDO and CRF along with the proper patch, one must make a hard restart in order for the mods to work properly and the new dialogue to show up. If a hard restart is not done, then no new dialogue will be there. Testing was done with and without the patch on Alvor the blacksmith in Riverwood, Luccus in the Riverwood Trader, at the female merchant at Warmaidens in Whiterun and with Belethor in Whiterun. RDO and CRF had "seemed" to work together without the patch, but the patch is made for a reason and therefore installed. Sorry if I jumped the gun on this but better to be safe than sorry.

Adds over 5, lines of completely voiced dialogue for NPCs using the original voices. Friends, followers, spouses, rivals, and others have much more to say. All default voices now have follower dialogue. Fully voiced Khajiit marriage dialogue. Also fixes dialogue bugs and restores cut dialogue that has never been heard before! NPCs who dislike you not bandits and forsworn, but citizens of towns and cities will have more insults to say and may even completely stop talking to you if you continue to pester them.
