This homemade costume for women entered our Halloween Costume Contest. For someone who knows how to sew, this costume would be a lot easier to make I unfortunately do not. The fabric I found at Jo-Ann was perfect for the colors of the gills. The only problem was it freyed really bad so I also have to buy a bottle of the anti-frey gel which added a long step in the middle. I decided to make them bigger so I wouldnt need to cut out as many.

We start at the bottom of the hemline and work our way up row by row. It worked amazingly well with the textile glue - so sewing with the sewing machine is not absolutely necessary! A tutu in the matching color completes the whole costume. And the fish costume is ready.
