Each province comprises a small geographic region, with a town or city at its center, although cities currently have no functionality outside of aesthetics. Provinces are the heart of any nation in Europa Universalis IV.

All of the world have had at least 1 major pass at map updates post release, and while some places could be better, that will always be the case, as each year we get better and better at improving the map.
