The NFL is back, sort of. Last week's Hall of Fame Game unofficially kicked off the preseason, and many casual fans won't consider exhibition action "real" football anyway. However, the first full week of games since last year's playoffs kicked off Thursday.
T he first full weekend of NFL preseason games is done and dusted. There as plenty of action to talk about, with rookie quarterbacks Bryce Young and Anthony Richardson making debuts. However the two, along with C. Stroud , experienced some growing pains. The second year quarterback out of Pittsburgh had no problems leading the Steelers offence to the end zone in what was his only drive of the game. The former first round pick looked good in his limited action, finishing with seven completions and a touchdown. Elsewhere, Russell Wilson got off to a slow start but eventually threw a touchdown pass to Jerry Jeudy, though the Denver Broncos came up just short against the Arizona Cardinals.
