Poko, Carpe, Eqo. These are three names that are synonymous with the Philadelphia Fusion. A common guess for the French Off-Tank would be the Paris Eternal, where many European players have gone to settle their careers down into retirement or Contenders demotion. This being said, Poko seems to be heading into the season with his head held high, and his mind is set on an Overwatch League Championship. Seeing as he was stuck in France due to visa issues all year.
But after a relatively inactive season with the London Spitfire, Poko announced his retirement from competitive Overwatch in November. Poko is now a part of the Seoul Infernal as a content creator, the team announced today. After making his name as one of the most popular players in the league and landing his signature Poko Bombs on D. Va over the first years of the Overwatch League on the Philadelphia Fusion, he is coming back to the franchise even after its relocation to Seoul. Welcome back Poko! Poko released a video on Twitter today explaining the situation, primarily his decision to join his old team and become a content creator for the first time. The start of the video shows him overlooking his old Philadelphia Fusion merchandise, stirring up the nostalgia for Fusion and Infernal fans. But after finding an Infernal jersey in his merch box and throwing it on, he told his fans what the future holds. Poko himself joked about knowing that feeling from his recent years competing in the league, but the team instead offered him a content creator role. From how this signing looks, Poko is purely a content creator for Seoul, and if the team needs a new player for the roster, it will sign one accordingly.

Va bomb right in the middle of the group. Poko is a damn good D. Va player. Va moves do. Va player is getting value from his ultimate. It can often be to hard to catch a team by surprise with a D. Va ultimate; unless the enemy team is stuck within a Graviton Surge, opponents have a fairly easy time moving away—unless they have no idea where the MEKA unit is coming from. Poko knows his angles, and knows how to get his D. Va bomb in the exact spot he wants it. Individual skill is a key part in their success, but their decision making pulls all that skill together to make huge plays.
