I've just got an email saying my copies of Ultra Sun and Moon will be delivered this afternoon, perfect timing for when I finish work for the weekend. As i've played though both the original Sun and Moon games i've been trying to put a team together consisting of Pokemon i've never used in a team before. I wanted Marshadow in my team when I first played though of Moon, so it will be nice to finally have one to use throughout the story. The Milotic, Turtonator and Zygarde are just Pokemon i'd like to use in an effort to make a balanced team. I'm not too keen with 3 Pokemon been from events, as I would like to train them up myself. They also won't be much use for the first two islands due to their level, however that should make it a lot less time consuming to get the other 3 Pokemon up to similar levels. For the other half of the game and post game they should be useful. As it's my 3rd play though of GEN 7 at this point i'm not too bothered. From what i've read from people playing leaked copies, all the interesting stuff is post game anyway. Besides the starter, I typically try to fill my team with pokemon I never used in a story-mode playthrough before. Of course, there's the possibility I'll swap in something different as I further progress.
It'll need some pivoting help to enter battle though, as it's very bad defensively. It's got great special stats and decent Speed, and it can work as either an offensively capable Stealth Rock setter or a wonky Meteor Beam and Beast Boost sweeper.
Although I was hesitant to write this post, I decided I would do it anyway. Although last game I said the best starter was Popplio, this time around it is Litten. The main enemy of this game is Necrozma. Dark not only is immune to Psychic, but it does super effective damage to it as well. Ghosts type do the same, although they take regular damage from Psychic types. Incineroar has an impressive base stat total, being pretty balanced in its stat, with its Attack being its best stat at , and its Speed being the lowest, at

Instead, if you want to have any kind of success playing online, or in the demanding Battle Tree and Battle Royal modes, you'll need to do some real work, involving complex breeding chains, item farming, strategic training, and more. In theory though they're all the same - so don't expect many changes! In the competitive scene, battles can be lost because you're just one stat point short of the maximum, and if you want to hit that maximum in all the right areas, you're going to need to put in the work. It's a fair bit to balance, so below we've gathered together guides for everything you need. This guide, however, aims to show you how to actually go about it once you've decided what it is you want to achieve, be that a comedy team full of Special Attacking Magikarps or a top-tier competition squad.

I really liked Ribombee in my playthrough. Hala will be tough without a Pokemon good against Fighting, and Zubat is good because it doubly resists Fighting moves and it has access to Wing Attack at level Log in. It's got great special stats and decent Speed, and it can work as either an offensively capable Stealth Rock setter or a wonky Meteor Beam and Beast Boost sweeper. Xephares 5 years ago 5 I didn't really end up needing anyone but Primarina and the event Lycanroc to beat the game. I think I got a little stuck at one of the Elite 4 but the Necrozma you get before that helps. Sacred Sword and Leaf Blade fit like a glove in its moveset. My thoughts on the game This game was definetely harder than the last one and personally, I felt the hax was cranked up to a new level. Was wondering which starter should I choose if my goal is to get to the end as fast as possible? Comment Reblog Subscribe Subscribed. It evolves from Bagon, which can be found as soon as you beat your first Trial. Vikavolt is a great Electric and Bug type with high Attack and decent Defenses.

They also won't be much use for the first two islands due to their level, however that should make it a lot less time consuming to get the other 3 Pokemon up to similar levels. Eh, why not? The Giratina is specially funny because of some NPC's lines, like this one: I accidentally made my mom leave my luck up to the devil. To put it simply: If you want a Poison-type that can deal tons of damage and help get quick KO's, Arbok is not for you. PedroKeitawa Posted November 21, Rivaling Tapu Koko for the title of best offensive pivot in the meta, let alone the best one from Alola, is Zeraora. From what i've read from people playing leaked copies, all the interesting stuff is post game anyway. It also gets some fantastic coverage moves in Close Combat, Psychic Fangs , and Crunch, as well as Stone Edge for more damage when Accelerock's priority isn't needed.
