Plusnet email problems
I have been using plus net accounts on Thunderbird for many years and on different machines.
I am trying now for 16 hours - but I am unable to either log in to the webmail or download mail to my phone. When I try to log in, I get the error message " Unknown user or password incorrect. I am currently out of the country, so it is not possible to call the help line - any ideas? Hey there benjamine I just tried to log into my webmail and was able to so it isn't a server issue. Just for testing purposes have you changed the password and tried logging in? I've had problems for the last few days.

Now I keep on getting notifications to update the credentials for one of the accounts. All other e-mail accounts still work. IMAP: imap. SMTP: relay. Go to the fix. Seem to be major issues with Plusnet email servers today. I cannot gain access to my Inbox via the usual Plusnet email program. Everything is very slow, I even got an error message when I sent a short email. Using imap. It states looking for folders, cannot send, save draft, or view received. Logged into webmail. First stated that the mail is empty, and then after a period went to refreshing, and after some considerable time showed a few emails from last Friday, today's Wednesday, and then after a while cleared those displayed emails and went back to refreshing. Same here, unable to sync inbox via imap, also unable to access via webmail. Webmail fails by either of two issues, unable to log into the client, or once logged in there is an error message re an imap server. I had been considering that I should move my mail service elsewhere, perhaps this is a sign telling me to get on and do it.
