Persona 5 villain
The Persona series is known for its vast cast of unique and memorable characters, each with their own distinct personalities, backgrounds, and abilities. Despite some characters falling under certain anime cliches at times, the writing and characterization are strong enough that they all end up being lovable in their own ways. From the silent yet enigmatic protagonist to the quirky and lovable side characters, the Persona games deliver a diverse cast that will stick with players long after the game ends. It helps that the villains in the series are just as memorable, seeming like insurmountable antagonists early on before players finally attain the means to take them out. As players progress through the story, they slowly uncover the intricacies of the villains' motivations and ideologies, making their eventual defeat all the more satisfying. Sometimes, these villains can be misunderstood figures who took their frustrations out incorrectly, while there are other times when these people are so incredibly evil that taking them out is the only course of action left to the heroes. Mitsuo Kubo is a pretty creepy character, stalking and asking Yukiko to hang out with her even though she had no idea who he was. This makes him seem like an ominous figure who ends up being the prime suspect as the serial killer. Hunting him down in his video-gamified dungeon makes for a great time, with the boss fight being pretty unique indeed. Despite giving off a disturbing vibe, Mitsuo is nothing more than a man hungry for attention who ends up being forgotten in the grand scheme of things that unravel later on. Suguru Kamoshida is a high school gym teacher who abuses his students and uses his power to cover it up. Ryuji has suffered the brunt of his atrocities for quite some time, with Ann being forced to hang out with this perverted adult to defend her friend on the volleyball team.
The story focuses on a sick woman called Maki Sonomura who has suffered from a debilitating illness that has caused her to be unhappy and envious of those who didn't suffer from her problems.
