Housed in a Victorian era 2 storey terrace shop, The Pearl's cosy downstairs dining area features a stunning curved wooden bar, mirrored floor lit archways and a cluster of Bentwood chairs on the wall. Diners also have the option of dining outside under the verandah with views on the charming historic pocket lit by antique lampshade style street lights. The restaurant's reputation for a great breakfast and lunch spot has been built over the years but it comes into its own in the evenings when the antique street lamps come on and the impressive dinner menu comes into being. So last week when in Brisbane I was determined to go back and see if it was still as good as it had been when last there!
