The food and drinks are great, there's plenty of parking and the ambiance is nice. We love coming here even though it's usually busy. I've never had a negative experience. The hotel is a very good business class hotel, comfortable and with in-room paid but good internet connections. Staff was efficient and friendly and the buffet breakfast excellent. My first taste of American food. I also enjoyed the dinner options at the bar that was part of the complex. Apart from that Houston is obviously not a city that lends itself to walking any Apart from that Houston is obviously not a city that lends itself to walking anywhere, expecially at the outskirts, such as where the Hilton is located. Only a forlorne strip mall is within easy reach. This is the 4th times we stayed at Doubletree Hotel because it is very comfortable and the location close to the airport is superb. It is quiet and the bed is very very comfortable and clean. The staff is very helpful and the free cookies were excellent.. We also like the pool and hang out around it while looking at the planes that pass above us. Highly recommended Good location for overnight stay if waiting on flight. Close to restaurants within walking distance.
