The formula is very nice; the color may be sheer, but the formula is a nice consistency. I did use three coats for this polish, but had no issues with drying time. I also have a few washboard nails. The suspension base is surprisingly fluid and paintable. We'll see. No topcoat since I planned to layer. Don't Touch My Tutu!
