While you would register as a Fanshawe student, your course may be delivered by another college. This partnership approach allows colleges to optimize resources and deliver one of the largest inventories of high-quality online programs and courses in North America. OntarioLearn is a popular choice for people who live in rural and remote areas, who have different learning styles or disabilities, who lead busy lives, working full-time or part-time. OntarioLearn courses are facilitator-guided and a synchronous online. While there are not any specific days to log on and view a lecture, each course will have a structured schedule available within the course site, with specific deadlines for assignments, tests, etc. By choosing OntarioLearn, you are joining an extensive network of students from across Ontario.

Most online courses are offered during the start of our three academic semesters winter, spring and fall and run for 14 weeks. Many courses are also monthly intake courses, which means they start the first business days of the month and run for 14 weeks. Below is a detailed course schedule that shows the start and end dates of most semester and monthly intake courses. It also shows important information on registration and withdrawal dates. Please note, some online course start and end dates may vary.

Information on the final exam will be posted within each individual course — you may have: no exam, ontariolearn, an online exam, a proctored online ontariolearn, or an in-person proctored exam. This may include video or audio playing software or a specific software application.
