But, he does get excited and tells you that his next adventure is somewhere down below. While traveling through the bottom of Blighttown he is near the base of the tree that leads to a path that goes to The Great Hollow.

Defeat this Gold Crystal Golem and Sieglindehis daughter, will pop out. He is also very easy to stagger; a moderately poise -damaging weapon will throw him off-balance.
