I can't help but feel slightly disappointed with Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. I once upon a time in wonderland dvd only seen the first two episodes, and maybe there will be hope for the rest of the season, but right now I'm not too pleased.

From the creators of "Once Upon a Time" comes a fantastical, epic adventure that offers an exciting new twist on the classic "Alice in Wonderland" story. In Victorian England, Alice tells an impossible tale of a strange new land that exists on the other side of a rabbit hole. Alice seems ready to put it all behind her, especially the painful memory of the genie she fell in love with and lost forever, but in her heart Alice knows this world is real. Together the trio will take a tumble down the rabbit hole to a Wonderland where nothing is impossible. Alice's stories about Wonderland get her admitted to an asylum; right before Alice undergoes a procedure intended to help her forget her pain, the knave of hearts and the rabbit bring her back to Wonderland to find her true love, Cyrus. Alice concocts a plan to find out who she is up against; Jafar and the Red Queen have a confrontation; a flashback reveals how Alice and Cyrus fell in love. With the Knave's life in danger, Alice must decide on whether to use one of her wishes; Alice learns more of the Knave's backstory through her friendship with Lizard; Jafar's plan puts the Red Queen in a difficult position. Will Scarlet and Anastasia pass into Wonderland only to discover it isn't what they imagined; the Red Queen gains her royal status. The Knave is awakened by magic with the help of an unlikely ally and he goes in search of Alice only to find her in terrible danger, and Cyrus does his best to evade the Red Queen. Alice learns her father is in Wonderland and they start healing their relationship; young Jafar is distressed by his mother's death. Lizard is granted three wishes after releasing the Knave; peasants seeking revenge abduct the Red Queen; Jafar learns about the Jabberwocky.
