I have booked an Egyptian tour with OAT for Recently, I have been reading terrible reviews about this company. What have your experiences been? Should I cancel? I have been on 2 tours with OAT and have a 3rd booked. I have found them to be a very good tour company. The have a maximum of 16 travelers per tour except cruises , have very good guides and good itineraries. Similar to RS tours your have some afternoons, lunches and dinners on your own. The only draw back is that they still do the tour guide tipping thing. All other tips are included. Like you, I check for reviews before booking, but I like to read several of them before I make my decision. Also, consider Gate 1 Travel. We have done two tours with them in the past year and love the high quality for low prices.

But to go to the Galapagos and Amazon was something we knew required a guide and was more than we wanted to take on ourselves. Tours reviews. We did have a pretty cohesive group, everyone was friendly so that also contributed to making this trip so great.. In their defense, there is a lot of paperwork to sift through and I would encourage potential travelers to carefully review and ask questions to throughly understand what is being agreed to. Hotels and food have all been good so far and the fellow participants have been pleasant. Can't wait to go on another trip. We had 15 people, accommodations were all very good, included meals were tasty and the tour guide knowledgeable and fun. I switched to this tour of Greece, Albania, and North Macedonia. I have never taken a tour with OAT, but know others that have been happy with their tours. OAT are thieves and liars.
