This will, hopefully, give more purpose to the tasks and make better use of technology in my classroom. As I mentioned in my weekly response, exploring this ahead of creating our group model, would have been beneficial — I think that we may have changed or rearranged our model somewhat had we given some thought to some additional components presented in this model. I think that the link to the NTeQ article below is a great resource for teachers. The class content and this post make me think that I may be heading back in the IDT direction. This approach is particularly well-suited to the inquiry-based learning methods that are integral to the types of literacies that librarians currently teach.
