Is there a sourer expression than you get what you pay for? Does that phrase have any basis in reality anymore? And yet… I get nervous when a deal is too good, as it was with Norse Atlantic Airways. Intellectually, I know that any airline flying into and out of the United States has as good a safety record as all the others. When I realized that I was within 22 hours of the flight without a ping, I went to the Norse Airways website and tried to check in there.

If so, what was your experience? I don't think you'll find any reviews for that yet, it appears they don't start that route until August. That explains it! I'm looking to book in mid-Sept, flights are available so I assumed they had already commenced. Thanks for clarifying, and I'll check out the Youtube reviews of the other route. There are a few YouTube reviews available from vloggers who flew on the inaugural service and ones in days following when they launched Oslo - JFK. Your experience will likely be similar. We've been traveling around the world for almost 8 years and this is the first time I've encountered such a rude staff and such policies. Avoid at all costs. That being said, if you travel light and opt for any extras normally included with other major brands such as Delta etc the ticket cost soon ramps up and is often more than said others. They had entertainment I watched 5 movies on return flight and charging ports. Norse's planes also have the same types of pressurization, LED lighting, and window sizes, meaning most people can't tell, once they're aboard, that they're not flying one of the so-called legacy carriers.
