Nearing its 10th year in existence, Girls Leading Girls SOL, strives to be a youth soccer club in which girls can find a safe space to enjoy the game they love while learning from positive, female role models. These include after school programs, summer camps, winter clinics, futsal, and junior coaching programs. Greenhaven SC. One of the largest and oldest clubs to join NorCal Premier, Greenhaven SC was founded all the way back in with the goal of providing the youth in the Sacramento area with an enriching and enjoyable recreational soccer experience on each of their roughly 75 teams that compete in the U6-U19 age groups.

Each year, Cal North will provide requirements that clubs who apply to the club-based division must adhere to each year. Cal North will review and accept club-based teams each season. There are four levels of play ranking from highest to lowest: gold, silver, bronze and copper. Normally the league is broken into two separate seasons, fall and spring, with seasons consisting of roughly games. The league will attempt to create specific district divisions, to minimize travel. These teams will provide recognition to standout players for their performance during the season.

The goal is to provide balanced divisions with as little travel as possible in the U14, U16, and U19 age groups.
