It's a fearless passion project, vulnerable and weird and sad. Most of it is Eddie Murphy working through personal issues of trauma and sexuality and ego, conversing with himself while he plays different stereotypes, stretching the limit of Rick Baker's makeup utilized as racial dress-up.
