So, I have read the rules and have noticed that there are no rules stating that you can kill on sight and you instead have to initiate with the person in order to kill them. The question I have is: does this rule apply to military locations and areas of high people concentration? If it does not I feel like it very much should. All my time I have spent in DayZ has taught me to be hostile with people holding guns in their hands at military locations and not to be friendly with them. With this system of having to initiate with people, someone could just run through the middle of the airfield or in the middle of a field and not have to worry about being shot because you have to go and talk to them in order to kill them. I have had the drop on so many people so far that I could have killed and I wanted to kill but I couldn't because I had to initiate and what am I supposed to say?

Roland will need to remove that. Maybe you should allow KOS in certain areas so people won't become so kill happy on regular encounters? So about the factions going against each other, if two factions don't like each other and one person from each faction meet each other somehow, is it then allowed to KOS if the two factions are at 'war' or how would you legally be able to kill a person from another faction you are in conflict with? Per page: 15 30 I get about meters from the base and I see the guy start shooting at what looks like in the air so I keep running toward them and I start to see bullets landing next to me and I get hit twice and hide behind a hay bale to heal.
