Newt, who is named after Isaak Newton, is a Glader who looks much younger than many other Gladers. Being placed with the Group A, he is separated from his sister. He is rather tall and well-built boy, with blonde hair. He also has also either English or Scottish "odd accent. When the Mazes are running, Newt finds that Thomas and Teresa are not entering the Maze, and, due to this fact, he feels betrayed.
