Ark took the idea of survival games to a whole new level, and new content is being added to this game universe all the time. Ark: Survival Ascended is a remake of Ark: Survival Evolved, featuring a new overhaul of the graphics and better visuals overall. The character models were updated and several planned DLCs will expand the Ark universe in whole new ways. Among all the new additions to the game are some fantastic new creatures and dinosaurs that will share the world with you. The first two creatures, Nothosaurus and Giant Bison, are not in the game, but due to their popularity in the fan voting, it's possible they will appear in the future. We've still included them here because of this possibilty. Having previously appeared in the Ark game series, the Nothosaurus is a fan-favorite aquatic beast that was highly voted upon by fans participating in the fan-picked creatures to be in the Center DLC.

The Fasolasuchus is a quadrupedal terror with the unique ability to swim through sand, much like the Deathworm. Armed with a strong tail that can whip up sand to blind opponents, the Fasolasuchus will likely be an important PvP creature. Additionally, the crocodile has acid glands in its mouth, enabling the Fasolasuchus to shred armored opponents with a caustic bite. This ability to melt the defenses of high-armored foes makes the Fasolasuchus fantastic at defeating otherwise impenetrable targets, such as the Rock Golemn. Due to its thick hide, the Fasolasuchus is immune to narcotics, meaning the classic tranquilizer method will be ineffective.

With the release of Survival Ascended, players are going to get to be faced with a slew of new and returning dinos. With Ark: Survival Ascended being built from the ground up on Unreal Engine 5, the dinos are going to look even more frightening than ever.
