Going back to that night, to immediately after I turned off the NES.
I wanted to maintain a good relationship with the only other person that I know of who has played this cart. What I will post is this —. All things considered I think you had a pretty good run, you had a very interesting experience. I really want to see this through to the end. Zach: Why? What are you expecting to get out of it?

Spanning eight chapters and accompanied by hundreds of screenshots, the story is centered around a possessed Godzilla: Monster of Monsters! It notably features many new Toho monsters that did not originally appear in the game along with heavily deformed some to the point where the monster looks entirely different "Not-" versions of the original bosses. It also introduces a large array of original enemy monsters, such as Red, the story's main antagonist who is eventually revealed to have a deep personal connection with Zach. Zachary is the main character and narrator of the story, which is told from his perspective as he recalls the night he played the game. He loved it, but traded it away for Amagon a year later, something he states he regretted after having played it. Later in his youth, in middle school, he had a girlfriend named Melissa , who he looked after. She had a strange mental disorder that would cause her to go into "episodes" in which she would be stuck in an emotionless trance for minutes. Despite this, Zach describes her as "a very kind person", and states that he "cared about her dearly. Not saying anything to Zach, she stared at the Moon and ran into traffic, causing her to get hit by a truck and killed before Zach could save her. This memory was traumatizing for him, so much so he did everything he could to suppress it and even made a promise to himself not to think about it. Years later, as an adult, Zach got Godzilla: Monster of Monsters! The game started out normal with the exception of a glitch with Gezora on Earth, but eventually it got more and more strange, the new boss on Mars being Titanosaurus instead of Varan and proceeding to a whole new planet called Pathos afterwards rather then Jupiter. From then on, all of the planets were completely new, as well as the levels within them and the kaiju bosses. Zach initially tried to justify these abnormalities to himself all he could by thinking that he had obtained some sort of prototype with different bosses, and later that it was a ROM hack, but these would prove to be wrong.
Solomon's backstory with Red is unknown, however he is the only demonic-looking creature seemingly not under Red's control and would "rather die" than serve him. Selecting the Meat Package and… It replenished 5 blocks!
It relies on a combination of first person narrative and edited video game screencaps to tell its story. It was originally posted on the Bogleech forums in One day, Zachary, our protagonist, is given a bunch of NES games by an old friend of his. Being an enormous Godzilla fan, he starts with a nostalgic favorite, Godzilla: Monster of Monsters! Shortly after beginning, he finds that the game is glitched, presumably from a hack. At first he's delighted to find that the game includes monsters that weren't in the original. He becomes suspicious when he faces extremely recent Godzilla enemies from films that came out long after the game's release.

I think after you're done with story mode, you should make a kind of "classic mode" that is which has a remake of the original game. It would be so cool to play the classic game but with the new playable monsters, cheats and maybe you could add a option to add the additional new boss monsters. Titanosaurus, Biollante and maybe even remade Ghidorah Talking about boss monsters, if you're going to do the same thing you did with Varan for every other old monster then it shouldn't be too hard. Hedorah, Baragon and classic Ghidorah That mixed with the fact that you've already finished two planets and the fact that Godzilla Nes doesn't have too many enemies. It should be relatively easy For everyone asking about when the next demo's going to come out, IuriNery has stated that he won't be working on this game until he's completed Blazing Chrome, which by his estimate should come out at the end of this year.

It started out as Fake Godzilla , then turned into a normal Mechagodzilla with more attacks that his film counterpart had, and then transformed into Not-Mechagodzilla. The game ends with her telling him "You have saved us, we are forever grateful. Share Copy. Chekhov's Gun : Acacius, the monster who appears in the last level which Red won't let Zach use until Melissa intervenes after all of the other monsters are dead. In the last stage, King Ghidorah apparently uses the replacement monster glitch to become Mecha King Ghidorah. I immediately counterattacked with the heat beam, again and again until the power meter was totally diminished. Orga appeared in Trance. Rivers of Blood : Zenith's "Blood Lake". I never wanted anything so much. The screen reads RUN for a reason It Can Think : Zachary has his suspicions about the game being sentient, beginning about halfway through.

He is essentially the best about both Mothra and Godzilla rolled into one monster who in addition hits significantly harder than either of them , prompting Zach to call him "overpowered", but as the difficulty of the game mounts his high power becomes invaluable. Mordor : Red's homeworld, Zenith. Face is a much more subtle version. Red Is Violent : Both figuratively and literally. Tranquil Fury : Zach's reaction to Red gruesomely devouring the blue angel: "You're going to pay. Psychotic Smirk : Face's appropriately-dubbed "Maniacal" expression, brought out when he takes Godzilla and Anguirus from Zach, forcing him to use Mothra. It shows, too, since he takes down some very difficult bosses with Godzilla even when those monsters have obvious advantages over Godzilla in particular. Categories : Official Works Add category. The Atragon appeared in Zach's battle with them and tried to help, but was easily destroyed. But maybe, maybe now that all the other monsters were gone, the fifth monster might finally awaken. Kumonga appeared in Extus. How did Red know Zach? Acacius, her greatest fighter , also counts. What do I even do with this information now? The game got more and more shocking, frightening, and malevolent with each world, with Zach eventually even being reminded of Melissa after beating a stage boss called The Moon Beast on the sixth planet, Entropy.
