In looking to replace both of them with a single bike I have considered the new Tiger and something like the Honda. I'm leaning more towards the road-going Honda than the dual-sport Tiger.

I forget why I traded it. I'm looking to upgrade my bike from the BMW GGS this year, and the Honda looks like a great 'do all' with a focus on commuting, which is perfect for me - I'll probably try to splurge for the DCT even. I'll probably be doing more commuting, and errand running, than long-haul riding and fun. So just grinding out highway miles or sitting in stop-go traffic, or heading down the street to pick up milk.
