Musescore delete staff
I've just installed MuseScore 4 today, and I noticed musescore delete staff unlike MuseScore 3, the ability to remove a single stave from a group of staves Ex: 1 staff of a synthesizer when 2 staves are the default in the instrument selection was removed from MuseScore 4.
I've created some parts with Ossia staff at the top. Currently, I like the layout the way it is, and I am just wondering if there is a way I can delete the ossia staff without changing the layout. Currently the behavior is obviously , when I delete the extra staff, the main staff fills in the extra space. But I'm wondering if I can keep it the way it is after ossia deletion. Thank you.

Video credits: comment. The problem The item is "generated" during layout, and thus its addition is not recorded in the undo stack. However, its removal is recorded in the undo stack. So when undoing the action that caused the removal, the removal is properly undone and the item is added back. But since the addition was not recorded in the undo stack, undoing the action that caused the addition causes the item to get lost and leaked, instead of properly removed. For the same reason, when redoing the action that caused the addition, the item is not added back, but instead a new item is generated. The fact that the item is not added back also causes that the item is not updated for changed circumstances, like the redoing of the removal of staff 2. Then, when redoing the action that caused the initial removal, we try to remove the item again because the removal was recorded , but now there are two problems:. So, both solutions are a significant amount of work, and will require a lot of carefulness to implement them. I hope someone has a better idea!
Make sure that generated items are also removed properly, but without the undo stack.
