The victim, aged in his 20s, was assaulted in the centre of Walsall at about GMT by men believed to have weapons, West Midlands Police said. The attack happened on High Street, near an Asda supermarket. A large part of the town centre has been sealed off by officers who warned people to be aware access would be restricted on Saturday. There was increased police presence in Walsall for a second day on Sunday as detectives continued to "work around the clock" to arrest those behind the vicious killing of a man in the town centre. The victim, in his 20s, was attacked by a group on High Street near Asda in the early hours of Saturday morning and died a short time later.
