No, I don't regret Brexit at all. The UK is doing well making new trade deals around the world and the only European country in the Pacific trade deal. I think a few big events came shortly after Brexit, Covid and the war in Ukraine which had a bad impact on many countries but Remainer's just love to claim any bad impact came from Brexit. Yes and no. It could have been done better but I feel once Whitehall has decided it doesn't want to do something then it won't- think Sir humphrey appleby. Everyone assumes brexit and immigration but my thinking wasn't that, it was purely making our country more sufficient such as buying more UK products - yes we can't survive alone but there is a whole world to trade with. I felt the eu didn't particularly like us and I it changed alot from the original agreement in the 70s.

The EU itself was just the start. But there are still more institutions which still influence our laws and make it impossible to actually achieve "taking back control". If anything, we've left the trading bloc which had economic benefits but stayed in many of the legal institutions which retain control over us. So which body do we leave next - the ECHR? The ECJ? It's going to be 4 years since we withdrew our membership in European Union. Apart from the passport colour some people might prefer can anyone name one positive change which happened since then. The UK got covid vaccinations approved and ready for use despite EU regulations. Does that count? No that doesn't count. That was done under EU regs.

Those promised rewards for Britain of leaving the EU should surely be with us by now. UK and the EU set to remain best of enemies as dawns. No awkward halfway house like Theresa May had negotiated. There are a lot of faults with Brexit but the economy has downturned on a Global scale and it's hard to see what's post covid, what's global issues and what is Brexit? We now have control of our borders, so we can pay the French millions to stop migrants, we have our soverignty, unless you live in Northern Ireland and most importantly of all our bananas are just the shape we like.
