I haven't seen anything posted on these forums, so I'll write up a little guide. There seems to be a lot of confusion on how to make money fighting Mr. Shakedown MS , so hopefully this clarifies things.

This substory begins the first time you meet Mr. Shakedown after being introduced to him in Chapter 2. He is not tied to any specific location. Shakedown roams the city. You see there is apparently a hidden bonus for beating Mr Shakedown, which on occasion will cause the money reward he drops to double. You should be able to go from nothing to a trillion in a half hour, and don't go over a trillion; there's literally no need unless you wanna spend three hours filling out Kiryu's final style to max at which point the game becomes impossibly easy.
