The bahay kubokuboor payag in the Visayan languages is a type of stilt house indigenous to the Philippines.
It often serves as an icon of Philippine culture or, more specifically, rural cultures. Its architectural principles gave way to many of Filipino traditional houses and buildings that rose after the pre-colonial era. So from the meaning that we all have known for a long time ago about bahay-kubo, or just simply from how we can describe it in our minds, and also somehow based from our knowledges and imaginative minds, I came up to the concept of designing, or creating my own bahay-kubo, but, with a twist. My concept is a structure having a physical features of modern bahay-kubo. I resulted and came up creating this kind of concept because I want to improve more our mentality for being a proud Filipino.
