New Stardew Valley players may find an item called Mixed Seeds when clearing the debris from their farm at the start of the game. Additionally, players new and old will find Mixed Seeds frequently, from a variety of sources, over the course of a game. This guide will go over what Mixed Seeds are and what will grow from them when planted. It's not immediately clear what will grow from Mixed Seeds, but their title actually gives it away: a mix of things! Specifically, a handful of different crops will grow from them, depending on where and when they are planted. When planted in Spring, Summer, or Fall on the player's main farm, they'll grow into one of the corresponding season's crops. When planted on Ginger Island, there is a different set of crops that Mixed Seeds can grow into. And, of course, like everything else in Stardew Valley, Winter has its own rules. Mixed Seeds will basically convert into a crop's specific seeds, taking on all of its typical qualities. It's almost as if it were never a Mixed Seeds seed at all, for all intents and purposes. Crops that continue to produce will do so, quality levels work the same way , and each plant will take the normal amount of time to grow and reproduce. Additionally, they must be watered as normal or they will not grow. These crops will have the same qualities as if they were planted from their own specific seeds. Potato plants can drop multiple Potatoes when harvested, Cauliflower plants, if arranged properly, can grow into Giant Crops , and so on. Again, these crops have all their normal qualities.
