My burger and fries were mill creek tavern, and someone else at the table said their burrito was really good as well. Very affordable tickets and a family friendly atmosphere. Great food options available as well with lots of deals and promotions. Must-visit Food in Comstock Park.
The Tavern features a stunning timber-framed space, a handsome mahogany bar complete with two flat-screen televisions and a broad window wall that opens onto a breezy sun-drenched deck overlooking the ninth and eighteenth greens. The upper level of the Clubhouse allows full access to the Bar, Lounge, deck, covered porch, stone patio, waterfall and expansive party Tent. The Restaurant features a light and airy dining room with a cathedral ceiling and windows on three walls, as well as additional tables on the three-sided covered wrap around porch offering beautiful views of outside dining. Scott Ingersoll, the new owner of Mill Creek Tavern, updated the interior of the historic tavern including the kitchen, added a new bar top and floors, and incorporated a new menu. The renovated tavern reopened in early March. He will source produce from local farmers when possible and offers many Michigan craft beers. The menu features homemade offerings such as slow-roasted beef birria tacos with homemade garlic broth, perch dinners, and the MCT Bacon Jam Burger. He also kept the award-winning burger Mill Creek Tavern is known for. He will host fundraisers for local schools and charities. He envisions adopting families in need, bike drives, and Christmas gift drives. Like most restaurants, finding workers has been a challenge. He said he is slowly but surely filling needed positions. He wants to increase hiring to 30 employees. Ingersoll, a graduate of Comstock Park High School, previously owned and operated a couple of restaurants in Jenison and worked part-time for Mill Creek Tavern 10 years ago. He also previously owned a cell phone store on West River Drive. The historic building opened in as the North Star Saloon and Motel. Mill Creek Tavern was owned by the previous owner for about 13 years.

The wait staff is friendly, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. February Fantastic everything Spoke with owner Rich and gave his restaurant the highest compliments I could.
